FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University men’s and women’s basketball teams will play host to Clayton College & State University on Family Day, Saturday afternoon (Jan. 10)
The women’s game will tip off at 2 p.m., followed by the men’s contest at 4 p.m. Admission is only $1.
“We tried this $1 promotion back in November and had good success,” says FMU athletic director Murray Hartzler. “We want to provide families with an inexpensive opportunity to see quality college basketball.”
Heading into Wednesday’s Peach Belt Conference opening doubleheader at Lander University, the FMU men are 10-1 and ranked No.18 in NCAA Division II, while the Patriot women are 6-2.
This will be the first home game for the Francis Marion men since Nov. 25.
