Francis Marion University’s Office of Career Development will hold its Spring 2005 Career Fair on Wednesday, March 23, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Smith University Center commons.
Local, state and regional business and industry representatives have been invited to participate by setting up information booths at the fair. Participants include AFLAC, Auto-Owners Insurance, Campbell University School of Pharmacy, DBS Communications, DuBard Inc., the FBI, Florence County DSN Board, Florence School District 1, Herald Office Systems, IRIX Pharmaceuticals, Kelly Services Inc., Kinncom, Martek Biosciences, Mary Kay, McLeod Regional Medical Center, Nan Ya Plastics, U.S. Navy Officer Recruiting Station, Orangeburg Consolidated School District 5, Palmetto Animal Hospital, Perfection Clutch, Progress Energy, Shoreline Behavioral Health Services, S.C. Air National Guard, S.C. Army National Guard, S.C. Education Association, U.S. Army Recruiting, and Winthrop University. Additional organizations are expected to be represented at the fair as well.
The fair will offer employment information and opportunities for FMU students who are seeking internships and part-time and summer employment, as well as career networking opportunities and employment information for FMU seniors and alumni who are seeking full-time employment. All FMU students and alumni are invited to meet employers, make contacts, and apply for available positions.
