FLORENCE, S.C. – The Latta Dancers will perform at the 28th-annual Art’s Alive festival on the campus of Francis Marion University, Saturday, April 16.
The group’s performance will begin at 4 p.m. in McNair Science Building auditorium.
The Latta Dancers consists of 35 Latta High School students in grades eight through 12 who are currently enrolled in this semester’s dance classes. The group’s performance will include a variety of styles, including Spanish dance, lyrical, and pointe and will feature the school’s gifted and talented students in various selections. The group is directed by Amy Pizio.
The Art’s Alive festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, and is free and open to the public. The event is a celebration of the visual and performing arts for the whole family, with simultaneous performances at five different venues on campus.
