In celebration of Francis Marion University’s 35th anniversary, the FMU Alumni Association has partnered with Alumni Research Inc. to publish a comprehensive directory of alumni.
The contents of the directory will be divided into four sections: biographical, geographical, class roster, and an introductory section showcasing Francis Marion’s history and events.
The FMU Alumni Association has contracted with Alumni Research Inc. to collect and compile the information into a hardbound, library-quality volume and an online community. The directory is being made available to FMU alumni only and is a limited edition press run. It will be offered only one time.
The directory is expected to be published early next year and will cost $59.95. An online version is expected to be available this fall. A basic subscription to the online version is free, and a premium subscription will be $39.95 for the first year, with a $9.95 yearly renewal. A combination hardbound and online subscription will also be available.
“These directories will provide great networking opportunities at reasonable prices,” said Kelly Sellers, FMU’s director of alumni affairs.
Efforts are being made to contact FMU alumni by phone, e-mail and mail to obtain and verify biographical information. Alumni may provide updates for the directory and select specific information to make available to fellow alumni by visiting the Alumni Association’s webpage at www.fmarion.edu/alumni.
