FMU to hold "Connections to Success" event for students, Sept. 22
FLORENCE, S.C. – The second-annual “Connections to Success” event will bring together Francis Marion University students with the local business community, Thursday, Sept. 22 at FMU.
Admission is free for FMU students.
The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for students to learn from the experiences of FMU alumni and the business community, gain insight into potential career paths, and promote greater involvement of stakeholders in developing students for the marketplace.
Ten sessions will be held, with topics including interviewing, professional behavior and dress, entrepreneurship, career opportunities in non-profits and medical fields, professional certifications, and international exchange programs.
