FMU's Jazz Express to perform, Nov. 17

    FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion University’s Jazz Express will perform in concert, Thursday, Nov. 17.

    The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in the McNair Science Building auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.

    The program will be selected from the following: "Bye Bye Blackbird," "Unforgettable,"
"Black and Blue," "Unsquare Dance," "Linus and Lucy," "Blue Rondo a la Turk," and "Till There Was You."

    Jazz Express is under the direction of FMU music professor Craig Alberty.

    Members of Jazz Express, by hometown, are:

Florence: John Probst, bass

Latta: Rachel Corbett, piano; Everett Johnson, tenor saxophone

Sumter: Brian Berger, drums
