FMU's Cut Time show choir to perform, Dec. 1

            FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion University’s Cut Time show choir will perform in concert, Thursday, Dec. 1.

            The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the Hyman Fine Arts Center’s Adele Kassab Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

            The program is titled “We’re Gonna Put On A Show.” Group numbers to be performed include “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore,” “One Fine Day,” “Take Good Care Of My Baby,” “Once Upon A December,” “You’ve Got A Friend In Me,” “Let It Be Me,” and “Let’s Do It (Let’s Fall In Love).” Several solos will also be performed.

            The group is directed by FMU associate professor of music and choral director Sue Butler Orr.

            Members of Cut Time, by hometown, are:

            Aynor: Matt Brown
            Columbia: Maria Fogle
            Conway: Brittney Sherman
            Florence: Amber Wilks, Jennifer Smith, Zac Calcutt, Jason Jones
            Hartsville: Danielle Hodge
            Loris: Whit France-Kelly
            Winnsboro: Kyle Brazell

            Calcutt and Wilks are also choreographers for the group, along with Mandy Domenech and Kristen Owen, both of Florence, and FMU theatre professor Glen Gourley.
