FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion University junior Aengus McAllister has been selected to the 2005 Peach Belt Conference All-Conference Golf Team.
McAllister, a native of Dublin, Ireland, is second on the Patriot squad with a 75.22 stroke average. He has recorded two top-5 finishes in 2004-05, and six top-20 finishes in 10 events.
At the recent PBC Championship Tournament, he placed 22nd.
Francis Marion is awaiting the April 22 announcement of the field for the NCAA Division II Atlantic/Southeast Super Regional Tournament, to be played May 2-4, at the Bull Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ga.
McAllister played two seasons at Iona College before transferring to FMU.
