FMU Hosts Trojans on International Celebration Day, Wednesday

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University men’s soccer team will play host to Mount Olive College, Wednesday (Oct. 5) at 4 p.m. on the FMU Soccer Field.

Francis Marion is sponsoring International Celebration Day in an effort to recognize the vast diversity of the school’s student body. All international students are encouraged to wear apparel from their native countries, and bring a banner or their native flag. Students from 25 foreign countries are currently enrolled at FMU. Other students are encouraged to represent the country of their family’s heritage, in dress or with a banner or flag.

Hot dogs and drinks will be provided to participating students.

The FMU Soccer Field is located behind the Smith University Center, and admission to the match is free.

The Patriots are 6-5-0, while Mount Olive is 8-2-1.
