FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion University freshman setter Jenna Kaiser (KY-zer) has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women’s volleyball Specialist of the Week for the week ending Oct. 30.

The Broomfield, Colo., native averaged 13.20 assists, 2.90 digs, 1.90 kills, and 0.60 service aces per game last week, while compiling a .577 hitting percentage. She helped lead Francis Marion to three road conference wins. In the process, the Patriots improved to 24-10 overall and moved into sole possession of second place in the Peach Belt at 8-2.

Kaiser handed out 51 assists in a four-game win at UNC Pembroke on Oct. 26. She followed that with a 43-assist, 11-dig performance in a three-game win at Lander University on Oct. 28. On Saturday, she nearly recorded a triple-double with 38 assists, 14 digs, and eight kills in a three-game sweep at USC Upstate.

For the season, Kaiser ranks second in the PBC in assists per game (10.08). She is also averaging 2.67 digs and 0.40 blocks per game.

Francis Marion will conclude its regular-season schedule this coming weekend with PBC matches at Augusta State University on Friday night and at USC Aiken on Saturday afternoon.
