FMU Wind Symphony to perform in concert, Feb. 28

            FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University Wind Symphony will perform in concert, Tuesday, Feb. 28.

            The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in the McNair Science Building auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.

            The program includes “Armida Overture” by Franz Joseph Haydn, as well as “Pacem, A Hymn for Peace” by Robert Spittal, “Insignia” by Sean O’Loughlin, “Castellum” by Jan van der Roost, and “Highlander” by Carl Strommen.

            The group is directed by FMU music professor Terry Roberts.
