FMU officials monitoring Tropical Storm Ernesto Francis Marion University officials are closely monitoring Tropical Storm Ernesto. The storm’s projected track is along the South Carolina coastal area Thursday and Friday with minimal impact expected in the greater Florence area. The university anticipates operating on its normal schedule, but should weather conditions cause this situation to change over the next couple days, announcements will be made through the local news media, posted to the FMU web site and recorded on the FMU phone line, 1-843-661-1362.
