Woods to perform in concert at FMU, Oct. 3
   FLORENCE, S.C. – Pianist Benjamin Woods will perform in concert, Oct. 3, as part of Francis Marion University’s First Tuesday Chamber Music Series.
   The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in the Hyman Fine Arts Center’s Kassab Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.
 
 
   The concert will consist of works by Brahms, Beethoven, Debussy, Ravel and Rachmaninoff.
 
 
   An FMU Board of Trustees Research Scholar and the university’s 2005-2006 J. Lorin Mason Distinguished Professor, Woods has given numerous concerts at FMU during the past 35 years. This will be his only full recital of the season in Florence.
