Patriot Girls Soccer Camp Set For This Summer

    FLORENCE, S.C. - The Francis Marion University women’s soccer program will a residential camp this summer, July 22-25.

    The camp is for girls, ages 14-18, and will be held on the FMU campus. The cost will be $350 for campers staying on campus, and $295 for commuters. Early registration, before June 1, will result in a $50 discount. A team discount is also available for groups of eight or more that register together.

    The camp will focus on increasing each player’s playing technique, both at speed and under pressure. Campers will also work to improve tactically through the use of small-sided games and 11 on 11 matches.

    Each camper will receive T-shirts.

    Francis Marion women’s soccer head coach Marty Beall is the camp director. Other members of the camp staff will include college and high school coaches, and current collegiate players.
