FLORENCE, S.C. - Due to the threat of inclement weather on Saturday, several Francis Marion University sports schedules have been altered.

            The key Peach Belt Conference baseball series between 12th-ranked Francis Marion (25-11, 9-6) and 26th-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State University (27-6-1, 7-5) has been pushed back one day.  Instead of starting the series on Saturday, the two squads will play a doubleheader on Sunday at 1 p.m. and a single game on Monday at 2 p.m.

            The 24-10 Patriot softball team was to have played a PBC twinbill at conference newcomer North Georgia College & State University, Saturday in Dahlonega, Ga., but that event has been postponed to a later date.
