Francis Marion University offers a summer SAT Academy for the following students:
Any high school student planning to take the PSAT/SAT this year.
Any high school student who has taken the PSAT/SAT and wants to improve their score.
Any rising 7th grade student wanting to qualify as a Duke TIP Scholar. (Over 200 of past participants have earned the designation as a Duke TIP Scholar.)
Any student entering the 8th grade who has qualifed as a Duke TIP Scholar.
This workshop is NOT remedial. It's goal is to teach students the skills necessary to reach their potential score.

Francis Marion University will hold its annual FMU Activities Camp 2013, June 3-28. The camp for boys and girls, ages 5-12, is divided into four sessions and runs weekdays from 8 a.m. until noon. The cost of the camp is $70 per camper per session. For those who participated in last year's camp, the five-day sessions are reduced to $60 each.
Camp activities will include kickball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and swimming. Swimming is not taught, but life jackets are available. Instruction in the various sports will be by Francis Marion University athletic coaches. Activities will vary from week to week, so as to introduce many different sports.
Campers will be divided into groups by ages. The mission of the camp is to promote healthy and fun activities for children.
Each pre-registered camper will receive an Activities Camp T-shirt.

Francis Marion University will host two sessions of its Baseball Camp 2013. This is a great opportunity for young athletes to develop and polish their diamond skills.
The annual camp, for children ages 7-12, will be held June 17-21 and July 15-19 from 9 a.m. until noon each day. Conducted by Francis Marion head baseball coach Art Inabinet and members of the Patriot baseball team, the camps will stress learning basic game strategy and making the most of individual skills.
Applications for the camps are now being accepted. The camps will cost $70 per session, if paid in advance, or $80 on the first day of camp. Enrollment is limited. Each camper will receive a T-shirt.

The Francis Marion University men's basketball program will sponsor several 2013 summer camps starting in the month of June.
Three sessions of the "Four Great Days of Summer" Basketball Camp will be held June 17-20, June 25-28, and July 23-26 for boys in grades two through 10. The 2013 Pee Dee Team Basketball Camp and Shootout will take place June 13-15.
The four-day Individual Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost of the camp is $150 for one session. The fee does not include lunch. A special discounted price of $250 is available for campers who wish to attend two sessions, and $300 for those attending all three sessions.
The camp is designed to provide fundamental instruction in all phases of the game.
For the team camp, squads are guaranteed six games and will compete in a double-elimination tournament on the final day of the camp. The cost of the camp is $475 per team ($425 for a second team) and $85 per player for two nights on-campus lodging and six meals (for those interested).
All campers will receive a T-shirt.

The Francis Marion University women's basketball program has set dates for its annual Team Camp and Individual Camp for the 2013 summer. A two-day Team Camp will be held on June 11-12, while a one-day Individual Elite Camp will be held Tuesday, July 16.
The Team Camp has both a two-day or one-day component. The cost of the Team Camp for both days will be an $80 team deposit and $25 per player ($45 per player for those staying overnight on-campus). For one day, the cost is $40 per team and $15 per player.
Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three games per day. Play will be divided into varsity, junior varsity, and middle school levels.
The Individual Elite Camp, for players in grades ninth through 12, will begin with registration on July 16 at 11:30 a.m. The cost will be $40 per camper. Individual skill instruction, position instruction, player evaluations, and games (3v3, 5v5) will be offered.
FMU head coach Kate Glusko, who recently finished her third season at Francis Marion and took the Patriots to the 2011 NCAA Tournament, will direct the camps. Other members of her staff will also assist with the camps.

The John Campbell Soccer Camps at Francis Marion University are committed to providing a camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn! The Frank Pitt Soccer Camps and clinics focus on the development and improvement of your skills as a soccer player. These camps are highly instructional and will serve all ages and skill sets.
Our soccer camps range in age and we should have a program to fit your needs. Each of our camp sessions are open to any and all individuals restricted only by age and gender.
Day Camp - June 3 - 7 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
The goal of the FMU Soccer Camp is to provide an environment that is FUN! The camps are designed for boys and girls ages 7-15 to have fun through soccer related training sessions, small-sided games, and age appropriate full sided games. Our coaches/players run each training session.
The campers are put into many situations that help to improve their understanding of the game. Also, their technical skills (i.e.-passing, dribbling, etc.) improve as well. Towards the end of each day, campers compete in full size games relative to their respective ages.
Overnight Camp - July 27 - 31
Girls - Ages 12-18
The goal of the Elite Camp is to provide an environment that stretches and prepares the highest level players for college soccer. Our top college coaches run each Elite training session, while current and former players are on hand as assistants. Campers are placed in skill appropriate situations designed to enhance both technical skills and tactical understanding of the game. Many nuances of the modern game are taught and discussed; including formation, transition and team shape.
High expectations are placed on the campers during each of the sessions. The technical/tactical training sessions are designed to replicate the FMU Soccer Team's training sessions. Campers improve their abilities through good coaching and tough competition. .
During the afternoon sessions, campers compete against one another in full-sided games. This is the time to put all of the morning lessons into a game situation. Players begin to understand the various roles each position on the field requires. The campers do all of this and still have fun!

Francis Marion University has scheduled two sessions of its annual Tennis Camp 2013, June 17-20 and July 8-11, for boys and girls ages 8 to 18.
The camp will be held Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon on the Kassab Courts on the FMU campus.
The cost will be $60 per camper per session. Enrollment is limited. Each camper will receive a T-shirt.

The Francis Marion University women’s volleyball program will hold its 2013 summer camp, July 11-13. Campers may choose to either commute to camp daily, or reside on campus in the FMU residence halls.
The camp is for players entering the sixth through 12th grades. The cost is $270 per player for residential campers, and $185 for commuting campers. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt.

Patriots Volleyball Camp Objective:
Our camp has been designed to instruct every skill of volleyball, including serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and digging, in addition to team defensive and offensive systems. The staff is excited to focus its attention on individuals’ particular training needs in a manner which allows the participant to have fun during training and to leave the Patriots Volleyball Camp as a better player.
