KISSIMMEE, FL – Junior guard Houston Power scored a career-high 26 points to lead Francis Marion University to a 117-62 non-conference win over Florida Christian College, Saturday afternoon (Dec. 15) in men’s basketball action.
The Patriots conclude their pre-holiday portion of their schedule with a 5-2 mark. FMU returns to action on Jan. 2 when the Patriots host Erskine College at 7:30 p.m.
Following Houston in the scoring column was 6-7 freshman forward David Turner with a career-high 20 points, while 6-7 junior Kevin Clark added 15 points and seven rebounds. Eleven of the 12 Patriots who dressed scored.
Francis Marion led 54-25 at halftime as Florida Christian drops to 2-13. The Patriots excelled at the free throw line by making all 11 attempts.
