Chattanooga, Tenn. --- Led by Top 10 finishes by brothers Luke and Adam Hart, Francis Marion University finished fourth at the Re/Max-UTC Fall Classic, held at the Valleybrook Country Club in Hixson, Tenn. 

The host school, University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, captured the overall team title with a 15-under-par score of 837, 21 strokes ahead of second-place Mercer University (858).

Tennessee Tech University was third at 860, followed by FMU (863) and Wofford College (866).  The field included 16 teams. 

UTC junior Bryce Ledford shot a final round 66 to surpass teammate Jonathan Hodge and win the individual title with a 7-under par 206 tally. Hodge shot a final-round 72 after carding back-to-back 68's to open play, and finished in second at 208.  Wofford's Neil O'Briain, Grant Leaver of Austin Peay State University, and FMU's Luke Hart joined Ledford and Hodge on the all-tournament team.

Luke Hart finished tied for fifth (70-72-69=211), while Adam Hart tied for ninth (74-65-73=212).  Other Patriot golfers included Andrew Pitcher tied for 33rd place (71-72-77=220), Colin Floyd tied for 44th place (74-71=77=222), and Ronan O'Connor tied for 69th position (79-75-75=229).  Adam Hart's career-best 65 in the second round was the lowest round of the entire 54-hole event, which was contested on a par 71, 6,704-yard layout. That score is one stroke shy of the school record (64) set by Fredrik Ohlsson in 2002.

Francis Marion, in its first year as a provision member of NCAA Division I, will compete in Old Dominion University's Seascape Collegiate Invitational, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 in Kitty Hawk, N.C.
