GREENWOOD, S.C. - Francis Marion University senior Kelly Feber registered a game-high 14 kills and 19 digs to lead the Patriots to a 34-32, 30-19, 30-20 Peach Belt Conference victory over Lander University, Friday night (Oct. 28) at Horne Arena.
FMU improves to 23-10 overall and 7-2 in the PBC, while Lander falls to 7-20, 0-10.
Junior Lezlie Logan and senior Jessica Bartlett followed Feber with 11 kills each, while freshman setter Jenna Kaiser handed out 43 assists, dug out 11 balls, and served four aces.
Kerri Sorensen led Lander with 13 kills and nine digs, while Andrea Griffin added 10 kills. Setter Claire Damon totaled 21 assists and two service aces, while Sara Senn recorded 17 digs and four services aces and Melissa Trippany had 17 digs and two service aces.
The Patriots had a .250 hitting percentage, while Lander was held to .152.
