Wilson, N.C. - The 36th-ranked Francis Marion University women's tennis team lost only the No. 1 singles match as the Patriots beat Barton College 8-1, Sunday afternoon (Feb. 26) in non-conference action.

FMU improves to 4-2, while Barton drops to 3-5.

The Patriots women play at Peach Belt Conference opponent Columbus State University, Saturday at 11 a.m.
