Francis Marion beats #19 FSC 5-4
SAVANNAH, GA. - Francis Marion University's Kevin Taylor, ranked fourth nationally in singles, downed Florida Southern College's Milos Koprivica in three sets, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, in the decisive No.1 singles match to give the 15th-ranked Patriots a 5-4 victory over the 19th-ranked Moccasins, in men's tennis action on Wednesday (March 8) in Savannah, Ga.

The match was even at 4-4, prior to Taylor winning at the No.1 singles match over the 14th-ranked Koprivica.  FMU ups its record to 5-1, while FSC drops to 7-4.

The Patriots led 2-1 after doubles play, as Taylor and David Budler won 8-3 at the No. 1 spot and Chatwinder Singh and Matthew Keth were victorious 9-7 at the No.3 position.

In addition to the No.1 singles match, two other singles matches went three sets.   Francis Marion's Franklyn Emmanuel topped Isaac Galindo 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 at No.4 singles, while Keth fell to Dustin Dixon 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 at No.6 singles.
