Francis Marion Netters Sweep ASU
FLORENCE, S.C. - The nationally ranked Francis Marion University men's and women's tennis teams easily swept a Peach Belt Conference dual match from Augusta State University, Wednesday afternoon (March 15) on the Kassab Courts.
 
The 13th-ranked Patriot women (7-3, 3-2) lost only the No. 3 doubles match en route to an 8-1 win over ASU (9-7, 1-5).
 
The 16th-ranked FMU men (8-1, 4-1) swept all three doubles matches and split the six singles matches to claim a 6-3 win over the 27th-ranked Jaguar men (10-7, 0-5).
 
Both FMU squads will play PBC matches at USC Upstate, Saturday at 1 p.m. in Spartanburg.
