FLORENCE, S.C.– The nationally ranked Francis Marion University men's and women's tennis teams both picked up 9-0 wins over Peach Belt Conference newcomer North Georgia College & State University, Saturday morning (March 25) on the Kassab Courts.
In the women's match, 13th-ranked FMU (10-4, 4-3) lost only nine games in the nine matches. North Georgia fell to 5-7 and 0-6 with the loss.
The 16th-ranked Patriot men lost only 14 games in Saturday's match, ran their winning streak to 11 straight matches, and improved to 12-1 overall and 6-1 in the Peach Belt. NGC&SU dropped to 3-6 and 0-4.
Both FMU squads will play host to Anderson University, Sunday morning at 10 a.m.
