FLORENCE, S.C.– The Francis Marion University men's and women's tennis teams continued their winning ways on Sunday (March 26) as both squads earned non-conference wins over Anderson University on the Kassab Courts.
In the women’s match, 13th-ranked FMU (11-4) lost only 12 games during a 9-0 blanking of the Lady Trojans (1-10).
The 16th-ranked Patriot men had a much tougher time, narrowly defeating the 24th-ranked Trojans 5-4, for the Patriots' 12th consecutive victory. FMU is now 13-1, while Anderson drops to 10-3.
The FMU women will play at 32nd-ranked Presbyterian College, Friday at 3 p.m., before hosting 23rd-ranked Clayton State University on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Patriot men will play host to Erskine College, Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
