FLORENCE, S.C.– The 13th-ranked Francis Marion University women's tennis team swept the three doubles matches and then cruised to a 7-2 win over 29th-ranked Clayton State University, Saturday afternoon (April 1) in Peach Belt Conference action on the Kassab Courts.
FMU (13-4, 5-3) wins for the ninth time in their last 10 matches, while Clayton State drops to 4-12 overall and 1-6 in the PBC.
The FMU men and women will play at Wingate University, Sunday at 1 p.m. Clayton State plays at North Georgia College & State University, Wednesday at 2 p.m.
