Patriots conclude Regular Season with Blanking of UNCP
FLORENCE, S.C.– The Francis Marion University women's tennis team concluded its most successful regular season ever on Thursday afternoon (April 6) as the 13th-ranked Patriots blanked UNC Pembroke 9-0 in Peach Belt Conference tennis action.
Francis Marion ends the season with a program-best 17-4 mark, including a 10-match winning streak. The Patriots are 6-3 in the PBC, while UNCP drops to 14-9 and 2-6.
FMU will play host to the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, April 13-15 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter. UNCP will play at Columbus State University on Sunday at 10 a.m. before traveling to the tournament.
