FLORENCE, S.C. – The 14th-ranked Francis Marion University men’s tennis team and the 20th-ranked Patriot women’s squad both claimed non-conference wins over nationally-ranked Limestone College, Saturday afternoon (Feb. 10) on the Kassab Courts.
Both teams took 3-0 advantages after the doubles competition, and the FMU men went on to a 7-2 victory over the 35th-ranked Limestone men, while Patriot women won 8-1 over the 38th-ranked Lady Saints.
The Patriot men even their mark at 1-1, while the FMU women improve to 3-0 for the first time since 2003. Both FMU teams will play at Anderson University, Sunday at 1 p.m.
