GREENEVILLE, TENN. – The 14th-ranked Francis Marion University men’s tennis team and the 20th-ranked Patriot women’s squad both captured non-conference road wins over Tusculum College, Saturday afternoon (Feb. 24).
The FMU men improved to 3-1 with a 6-3 victory over the 39th-ranked Pioneers. The Patriot women took a 3-0 advantage after the doubles competition en route to a record-setting 8-1 win. The women remain unbeaten at 5-0, the team’s best start in the 37-year history of the program.
Both FMU teams will remaining in Greeneville to face Lincoln Memorial University, Sunday at 11 a.m., before returning home to host Peach Belt Conference foe Augusta State University, Wednesday at 2 p.m. on the Kassab Courts.
