second half on Sunday to pull away from Francis Marion and take a 77-
61 Peach Belt Conference win at the Lumpkin Center. The win evens the
CSU mark at 12-12 overall and gives the Cougars an 8-6 PBC mark.

November 18, 2007 - FLORENCE, S.C. – A Coker College turnover in the final seconds allowed Francis Marion University to escape with a 69-66 win and gave Patriot head coach Gary Edwards his 400th career win, Saturday night (Nov. 17) in the Zaxby’s Peach Belt Conference/Conference Carolinas Clazzic.

July 5, 2007 - Former Francis Marion University men’s basketball player Reinaldo Jean Charles has been named to the preliminary roster of the Venezuela national team according to the National Basketball Federation of Venezuela (FVB). The Venezuelan squad will compete in the FIBA Americas Championship 2007, Aug. 22-Sept. 2, in Las Vegas.
