FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion University senior forward Danielle Moore has been named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Conference women's basketball team, as announced by league officials at the PBC Tournament in Greenwood, S.C.
Moore leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 16.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. She also paces the Patriots with 64 steals and minutes played per game (33.7 per game).
The 6-0 Owings Mills, Md., native connected on 47.7 percent of her field goal attempts, including 30.0 percent from three-point range, and 65.9 percent of her free throws.
In the Peach Belt, she ranks third in scoring and minutes played, fifth in steals per game, seventh in field goal percentage, ninth in blocks per game, and tied for 11th in rebounding.
Moore scored a career-high 32 points and grabbed a career-high equaling 14 rebounds in Thursday's PBC Tournament semifinal 65-58 win over UNC Pembroke. The sixth-seeded Patriots face second-seeded USC Upstate in the tournament semifinals Saturday at 4 p.m.
Moore is 14th on the Patriot career scoring list with 1,287 points, seventh in career blocks (109), 13th in career steals (196), and 23rd in career rebounds (585). A three-year starter, she has scored in double figures in 65 of 111 career games.
A marketing major, she was been named to the PBC Presidential Honor Roll each of her first three years.
She is a product of The Bryn Mawr School.
