November 4, 2006 - The Francis Marion University men's and women's cross country squads finished 17th and 18th respectively at the 2006 NCAA Division II South Region Cross Country Championships, held Saturday (Nov. 4).
October 21, 2006 - The Francis Marion University men's and women's cross country squads placed fifth and seventh respectively at the 2006 Peach Belt Conference championship meet, held Saturday morning (Oct. 21). Two FMU women earned All-Conference honors and junior Codi Knoch nearly set a school record.
October 10, 2006 - Francis Marion University sophomore cross country runners Steven Holmes and Kelly May have been named the Peach Belt Conference male and female Runners of the Week, for the week ending Oct. 8.
August 31, 2006 - The Francis Marion University men's and women's cross country teams will open their 2006 schedules on Friday (Sept. 1) when the Patriots compete in the USC Gamecock Invitational.
August 10, 2006 - Francis Marion University cross country coach Mark Bluman has announced that two Loris High School products, Holly Todd and Kim Richardson, will attend FMU and run for the Patriots this fall.
June 22, 2006 - Francis Marion University cross country coach Mark Bluman has announced the signing of four runners to national letters of intent to attend FMU and run for the Patriots this fall: Amanda Doyle of Laurens, John Corley of Aiken, Rashad Rodgers of Columbia, and Jake Williams of North Charleston.
November 6, 2005 - The Francis Marion University men's cross country squad placed 18th at the NCAA Division II South Region Championship Meet, Saturday (Nov. 5) at Little Everglades Ranch in Dade City, Fla. FMU women's runner Kelly May concluded her successful freshman campaign with a strong showing.
October 24, 2005 - The Francis Marion University men's and women's cross country squads placed sixth and ninth respectively at the 15th Peach Belt Conference Championship Meet, Saturday morning (Oct. 22) at Lumberton's Luther Britt Park. FMU freshman Kelly May earned All-Conference recognition for her results at the meet.
