Spartanburg, S.C. - Sophomore outfielder Stevie Arrand and freshman left-handed pitcher Michaela Wolf represented Francis Marion University on the All-Tournament Team at the South Carolina Fastpitch Classic, which was hosted by USC Upstate last weekend (March 16-18) at the 295 Sports Complex in Spartanburg. The All-Tournament Team included 24 players.
In the four games, Arrand batted .429 (6-for-14) and hit a home run and drove in eight runs, all from the No. 9 spot in the batting order. Wolf posted a 1-1 pitching mark with a 2.19 earned run average and 21 strikeouts in 16 innings. Her loss, and the team's lone loss in the tournament, was a 1-0 decision to 10th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne College.
Arrand is a native of London, Ontario, Canada, and Wolf hails from Littleton, Colo.
