November 14, 2007 - Francis Marion University junior outside hitter Jessica Lombardi was recently named to the 2007 All-Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Team. 

November 9, 2007 - Francis Marion University will play its opening-round match in the 17th-annual Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Tournament, Saturday afternoon (Nov. 10) at 1 p.m. against I-95 rival UNC Pembroke. The single-elimination event is being hosted by Lander University in the Finis Horne Area in Greenwood, S.C. 

October 15, 2007 - For the second time in three weeks, Francis Marion University junior outside hitter Jessica Lombardi has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women’s volleyball Player of the Week, this time for the week of Oct. 8-14. 

October 1, 2007 - Francis Marion University junior outside hitter Jessica Lombardi has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women’s volleyball Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 24-30. 

September 5, 2007 - Francis Marion University senior outside hitter Jackie Phiel has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women’s volleyball Player of the Week for the opening portion of the 2007 season (ending Sept. 3). 

August 22, 2007 - Francis Marion University, which shared the Peach Belt Conference regular-season volleyball championship in 2006, enters the 2007 season with a mix of young and old, offense and defense. The Patriots open their season Friday and Saturday (Aug. 24-25) at the Eckerd College Tournament in St. Petersburg, Fla. 

August 14, 2007 - The Francis Marion University women’s volleyball team has been tabbed to finish third in the race for the 2007 Peach Belt Conference crown, according to the annual poll of the league’s head coaches. Three FMU players; senior outside hitter Jackie Phiel, senior middlehitter Michelle Settergren, and junior setter Jenna Kaiser; were also named to the 2007 preseason All-PBC squad. 

November 8, 2006 - Three Francis Marion University volleyball players – senior middle hitter Lezlie Logan (Cleburne, Texas), senior libero Jessica Strader (Kettering, Ohio), and sophomore setter Jenna Kaiser (Broomfield, Colo.) – were recently named to the 2006 All-Peach Belt Conference Team. 

October 30, 2006 - Francis Marion University will serve as host for the 2006 Peach Belt Conference Women’s Volleyball Tournament, Friday and Saturday (Nov. 3-4) in the Smith University Center. Admission to the tournament is free. The single-elimination event will begin on Friday with quarterfinal matches at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m., and semifinal matches at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The championship match is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. 

October 24, 2006 - Francis Marion University sophomore setter Jenna Kaiser has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball Specialist of the Week for the week ending Oct. 22. This is the second time in a month she has earned the award. 

October 17, 2006 - For the second time in a month, Francis Marion University senior middle hitter Lezlie Logan has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women’s volleyball Player of the Week. This award is for the week ending Oct. 15. It is for the fourth time in her career she has garnered the PBC weekly award.  

September 26, 2006 - Francis Marion University sophomore setter Jenna Kaiser has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball Specialist of the Week for the week ending Sept. 24.  

September 19, 2006 - Francis Marion University senior middle hitter Lezlie Logan has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 17. This is the third time in her career she has garnered the PBC weekly award.  

September 7, 2006 - Francis Marion University senior libero Jessica Strader has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball Specialist of the Week for the opening portion of the 2006 season.  

August 23, 2006 - The Francis Marion University volleyball team enters the 2006 season led by a pair of decorated seniors and a first-year head coach. The team's goals are to successfully defend their 2005 Peach Belt Conference Tournament crown and thus return to the NCAA Division II Tournament, and finish higher during the PBC regular season than last year's second-place showing.  

August 9, 2006 - Francis Marion University, under the direction of first-year head coach Paul MacDonald, has been picked to finish fourth in the race for the 2006 Peach Belt Conference volleyball title, according to the league's annual preseason coaches' poll released on Wednesday 

August 7, 2006 - First-year Francis Marion University women's volleyball coach Paul MacDonald has announced the signing of right-side hitter Ashley Lasher of Oakland, Calif., and setter Jess O'Leary of St. Louis, Mo., to national letters of intent to attend FMU this fall and play for the Patriots.  

March 9, 2006 - Francis Marion University athletic director Murray Hartzler announced on Thursday (March 9) the hiring of Paul MacDonald of Hiawatha, Iowa, as the university's new head coach for women's volleyball.  

December 20, 2005 - Francis Marion University athletic director Murray Hartzler announced on Monday (Dec. 19) the resignation of women's volleyball head coach Sonny Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick leaves FMU to accept the head coaching position at NCAA Division I Troy University. 

September 6, 2005 - Francis Marion University junior libero Jessica Strader has been selected as the Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball Specialist of the Week for the opening portion of the 2005 season. 

August 24, 2005 - The Francis Marion University volleyball team opens its 2005 season with a challenging schedule and roster that includes all six starters back from last year's 21-14 squad that placed third during the Peach Belt Conference regular season. 

August 17, 2005 - The Francis Marion University women's volleyball team has been tabbed to finish second according to the 2005 Peach Belt Conference preseason coaches' poll released Wednesday (Aug. 17), while Armstrong Atlantic State University was the unanimous No. 1 pick.
