Cheri Richardson serves as the Assistant Dean of Students for Leadership.  Ms. Richardson received both her BS degree and MBA degree from Francis Marion University and previously worked with the FMU Foundation and in the University President's Office.  As an assistant dean, Ms. Richardson is responsible for the following areas:

• Advisor to the Student Government Association
• Advisor to the College Panhellenic Council
• Co-advisor to the Interfraternity Council
• Coordinator of the Miss FMU Pageant
• Member of the Leadership FMU Advisory Board
• Cheerleading Coach
• Serves on various committees on campus, including New Student Orientation
• Serves as a student judicial affairs hearing officer
• Participates in generalist student affairs duties within the office
• Participates in the departmental on-call emergency schedule
