LaTasha Brand serves as the Assistant Dean of Students for Student Involvement.  Ms. Brand received her BA degree from Francis Marion University and has held positions in Student Affairs and the Admissions department.  As an assistant dean, Ms. Brand is responsible for the following areas:

• Advisor to the University Programming Board
• Serves as the overall advisor to the student organizations policies and procedures
• Coordinates Welcome Week Activities
• Coordinates Citizenship Education Activities
• Coordinates the Student Organization and Community Fair
• Serves on various committees on campus, including New Student Orientation
• Serves as a student judicial affairs hearing officer
• Participates in generalist student affairs duties within the office
• Participates in the departmental on-call emergency schedule
