Greetings from the Dean of Students

Welcome students, future Patriots, parents, and faculty!  As the Dean of Students at Francis Marion University, it gives me great pleasure to serve the campus community.  The Dean of Students Office promotes student advocacy and support through programs and services designed to assist in the overall academic mission of the University.

At FMU, we seek to develop the whole student with experiences that enhance student potential for academic success through leadership opportunities, citizenship education, networking and a firm grounding in the liberal arts.  As you search through our web pages, you will find that we initiate platforms for self expression, personal growth, and global education.

I hope you enjoy browsing our site and decide to take part in the Francis Marion University community.  Please feel free to contact the Office of Student Affairs for any additional information.

With Patriot Pride,

Teresa Johnson Ramey (Ramey profile)
