The Multicultural Advisory board, made up of faculty, staff, and students has been very instrumental in ensuring that diverse programming opportunities are available to FMU’s campus community. Programs and events that have been hosted or co-sponsored by MAB members in the past include:

International Extravaganza
Hispanic Heritage History Month Program
Native American Heritage Program
Kwanzaa Celebration
Annual MLK Day Celebration
Black History Month Program
FMU’s Women’s Empowerment Workshop
FMU Diversity Seminar

It is through programs and sessions such as these that we plan to continue implementing alternative approaches to multicultural awareness, diversity appreciation and educational enrichment both in and outside the classroom.
