The Office of Student Life is responsible for creating a positive campus environment that enhances and complements the academic mission of the University while providing opportunities for leadership development, involvement, recreation, and personal growth and development.  All students are encouraged to become invloved in one of the many student organizations (e.g., Student Government Assocaition, University Programming Board) or one of the many events throughtout the year.

The Coordinator of Student Life serves as part of the Student Affairs Staff at Francis Marion University. Responsible for many aspects of student life, the Coordinator works very closely with the University Programming Board, the Panhellenic Council, the Inter Fraternity Council, Homecoming Week, the Ms. FMU Pageant, Welcome Week, and over 60 student organizations and clubs.
