WHAT IS UPB?
The University Programming Board serves the student body by providing a variety of quality programs and out-of-the-classroom experiences designed to enhance campus life. The students who make up the board are students who have an investment in contributing to campus community.
HOW CAN STUDENTS JOIN UPB?
Recruitment for upperclass members of the board are conducted each spring semester for the upcoming academic year. Positions remain open for incoming first year students. Applications are available in the Dean of Students Office, located in Smith University Center, room 205.
The UPB collaborates with other student organizations and departments at the University. Regular campus-wide activities include: Welcome Week, Fall Fest, Homecoming Week activities, Spring Fest, Student Health Fairs and Cultural Coffee Houses. In addition, the UPB offers weekend movies, comedians, concerts, novelty events and programs that enhance the educational mission of the University.
