Description: A study of the philosophical traditions that developed in the West between the ancient Greco-Roman world and the world of modern Europe. In addition to the central figures of the Christian medieval tradition, primarily Augustine and Aquinas, the course will cover important philosophers from the Judaic and Islamic traditions.
