Description: This course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles of behavior including the history, theory, definitions, processes, concepts, and characteristics of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Particular emphasis is given to the scientific assessment and analysis of the environmental variables controlling a behavior and to the manipulation of these variables as a method of increasing or decreasing a target behavior. Attention will also be given to the development of the field of ABA.
