DESCRIPTION: The session is great for highly stressed individuals looking to reduce their day-to-day stress. After participating in this G.E.A.R.S. session, you will leave feeling a sense of “I CAN”. Success of this program can be measured by one’s ability to recite the seven strategies and incorporate them daily in their lives. Starting and running a business can be stressful.

SPEAKER BIO: Owner of Unlimited Transformations Consulting & Next Phase Development and Director of Dramatic Coffee Beans Incorporated. Carla Simon Angus, born and raised in Lake City, SC, received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Upon graduation, Carla began a 15 – year career in education serving as an elementary classroom teacher, athletic coach, elementary and middle school vice-principal, elementary principal, and curriculum coordinator. In 2012, Carla had the opportunity to utilize her talents and management skills to help the greater Lake City communities enhance their educational and cultural offerings by creating a consulting firm called Unlimited Transformations. As a consultant she works with several schools and nonprofit organizations. Recently, she expanded Transforming Minds and opened Next Phase Development a cohort that offers office space and event rentals to enrich her hometown of Lake City SC. In addition, Carla serves as the Chairperson for the Lake City Boys and Girls Club and is a board member of the Florence Regional Arts Alliance.
