FMU student short films to be shown at Campus Movie Fest in Hollywood

Without leaving campus, Francis Marion University students recently got a taste of the glitz and glamor of Hollywood.

More than 300 students participated in the Campus Movie Fest Tour, which allowed students to create their very own short films over the course of just a week.

The Campus Movie Fest Tour visits colleges and universities across the country, and provides student filmmakers with the equipment, training, and support to make a five-minute movie in one week.  FMU students were  given a DSLR camera, a Macbook laptop, a tripod, sound equipment, editing software, and technical support.

Dozens of FMU students created short films during the week and a jury voted on the best films. Four were chosen as winners to be shown in Hollywood during the CMF Terminus event in June.

The chosen films produced by FMU students that will be shown in Hollywood are embedded below.

To view all FMU student produced films, visit the College Movie Fest website  or  the Campus Movie Fest YouTube channel.
