Track Description

The BSN to DNP track provides a seamless transition from the baccalaureate to the doctoral level. It includes 70 credit hours and 1,170 clinical hours. Admission is during the Fall semester; requirements and deadlines are posted under DNP Applications & Forms.

This track is delivered in a hybrid format. Advanced Pharmacology, Advanced Pathophysiology, and Advanced Physical Assessment are taught face-to-face. The rest of the classes are primarily taught online, with some face-to-face sessions. Face-to-face classes are always on Wednesdays to facilitate planning work schedules.

Please note there is no opt-out to take national certification boards before graduation. Upon graduation from the program, DNP Family Nurse Practitioner students are eligible to sit for the AANP and/or ANCC certification exams.
