Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Curriculum

The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering requires a minimum of 122 hours at Francis Marion University which includes both the Engineering curriculum and the University’s General Education requirements.

The Mechanical Engineering curriculum at Francis Marion University provides students with hands-on experiences as well as a strong theoretical foundations in engineering fundamentals. Students will take courses related to Engineering Graphics, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Processes, Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, and Engineering Statics and Dynamics.
