Francis Marion University moved to online instruction with few flaws last week in response to the coronavirus outbreak. With the help of FMU’s faculty, staff and student body, the process has been quite smooth.
FMU is delivering online instructions to students for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester as a part of the university’s response to the coronavirus outbreak. Francis Marion’s Campus Technology office is working with other organizations around the state to ensure all students have consistent Internet access.
Francis Marion University remains closed, however several facilities on campus will remain open for students in need of dining and academic resources. The Smith University Center will remain closed. Henry McMaster's executive order, campus dining services will operate under limited hours of operation after spring break for students remaining on campus.
