JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Manager of Institutional Effectiveness and Research (IE&R), the WORC (Workforce Opportunities Regional Careers) Data Coordinator is responsible for the collection, review, and coordination of program enrollment and completion data. The position maintains program and employer data such as student enrollment, retention, completion, and employment data for career and technical programs through data collection and reporting.

 Collects, analyzes and interprets data to produce quantitative and qualitative information in accordance to the WORC (Workforce Opportunities Regional Careers) grant and career and technical programs.  Collaborates with Academic and Student Affairs and other appropriate entities to articulate and measure retention rates, completion rates, and WORC (Workforce Opportunities Regional Careers) graduation rates in the preparation and distribution of the reports within established timelines and in accordance with established policies, procedures and grant requirements.  Develops processes to manage, organize and maintain a large amount of data sets and databases, including quality assurance.  Prepares summary reports and audits of the College’s Program Evaluation Report system and recommends actions for continuous quality improvement.  Participates in campus events and activities, serves on College committees representing the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research, and performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma and two years’ work experience in collecting, scheduling, processing and reporting information in a data processing environment. Associate’s degree in a related field may be substituted for work experience. Two (2) years of extensive database management and program analysis skills in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel preferred.
