Description: The states of matter, thermodynamics, equilibria, solutions and colligative properties, phase rule, conductance, and electrochemistry. The lab contact reinforces lecture material, including gas laws, and combustion and solution calorimetry. [Before enrolling in Chemistry 301, a student must have a 2.0 cumulative grade point average in all courses prerequisite to CHEM 301.]
