Description: This elective course is for those who plan a career in healthcare and may need a more specialized focus on safe dosage calculations. This course will focus on identifying methods of calculations used when determining a safe dose for administering medications through various routes such as injections, oral, and intravenous (IV). This course can also be taken by those who may need remediation in dosage calculation. This course does not take the place of any required math courses as established by the University or Nursing.
