On-Campus Housing Application Form
ATTENTION: Completion of this On-Campus Housing Application Form does NOT automatically result in an assignment to a residential space (i.e., residence hall or apartments). To receive an FMU Housing assignment:
- Apply and receive admission to FMU as a student (Call 843-661-1231 with ADMISSIONS questions)
- Pay the $173 non-refundable Housing Deposit (pay online through the Patriot Portal, by phone 843-661-1596, in person at the FMU Cashier’s Office, or by mail to PO Box 100547, Florence, S.C. 29502
- Complete the Francis Marion University (FMU) On-Campus Housing Application form below
NOTICE: Upon submission of this form, FMU Housing Staff will review your application (during business hours), verify payment of the $173 non-refundable deposit (assignments NOT made until a student’s deposit is verified). Once payment is verified, Housing staff will assign the student based on, availability of space. Preference is given based on class rank and the date on which application, and/or deposit was received. Roommate/Suitemate pairings are also based on the availability of space, the eligibility of all requested roommates/suitemates, and all requested parties reciprocating the request on their respective applications.
FMU Housing reserves the right to make and change assignments based on its interest in maximizing occupancy and or distributing residents effectively.
